With more than 40 years experiance in a ministry where God was his constant guide and support Timothy Grassinger realized that his stories could be a source of spiritual growth to the lives of others. He served a total of three parishes during his ministry and each one had its own unique character and experience.
He was born at St. Paul Minnesota during World War II in 1940. He attended Concordia Seminary in Springfield, Illinois graduating in 1965. His first call was to a dual parish in eastern South Dakota at Columbia and rural Hecla. From there he and his growing family moved to Rapid City at the opposite end of the state in 1971. After six years of ministry there, the family moved to Colorado Springs, where he saved Immanuel Lutheran CHurch for 25 years until his retirement.
Pastor Grassinger enjoyed a variety of ministry experiences some which where normal and others that tested his faith. The character of his ministry was that he always desired to serve his flock in the example of Christ and to love them no matter what.
