The central character, Emily, writes the book's introduction from the Other Side. In Paradise, her nerves and body restored, she directs the reader to her "files", the universe's akashic memory bank of her last years on earth. These files contain information/stories on the nature of reality; human origins, and eerie discoveries in science and consciousness. Emily is the first of a new kind of human, and she is able to break barriers that keep us in illusion.
