Julie Bigg Veazey is a member of the New Hampshire Writers’ Project and the Skimmilk Farm writer’s workshop and has published Merrymeeting, a book of poems. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in Yankee Magazine, Down East Magazine, Compass Rose and other literary publications. She was born in New York City and moved to Turner Center, Maine at age ten. She attended private girls’ boarding schools in New England during the 1950s.
