A Gnostic Commentary of the Gospel of Thomas from the Nazorean Essene school. In Thomas the stress is on understanding mysteries, on gaining gnosis, and on transcending dualistic worldly thinking. In Thomas we have an account of a spiritual master of the Gnostic type - a revealer of secrets. Stripped of the childish miracle mongering of the bible, Thomas reveals an enlightened being who is defined by what he teaches and shares with his illuminated mind, not what he does with his body or allows others to do to it. Yeshu of the Gnostics is a redeemer who has come into the world not to die for man, but to live for his secret Compassion and Wisdom.
