Apache Warrior Hawk

IIn the winter of 1006, Hawk a young Apache boy, volunteers to join the Apache Young Warriors training on his seventh birthday. Hawk faces obstacles such as drought, famine, and life and death situations. He learns harmony and respect for all living things. Hawk has a vision, experiences time travel, no person had before and from which he is desperate to return to reality. He is taught the major role women play in the tribes day to day existence. The elder woman decided where and when they camped. In war she decided whether to attack silently and leave without bloodshed or destroy their enemy and take captives.When captives were returned she decided their fate.Hawk grew up traveling with the Medicine Man from his tribe, healing the sick and dispelling spirits.He becomes a warrior he returns home to fall in love with Kokomo an Apache Princess and marries her.
