ANELA MALIK a writer, food blogger, and advocate for equity and justice. She began her popular blog and Instagram account, Feed the Malik, in 2018 as a means of exploring culture and history through food. Her writing is focused on the role and contributions of marginalized people in culinary history; her website highlights diverse perspectives in food and beyond, shining a light on tasty treats and unique stories, rather than trends. Malik has been published in the Washington Post, Washingtonian magazine, Washington City Paper, and EdibleDC, and featured on the Pro Food Maker and The Storied Recipe podcasts. She lives in northwest Arkansas with her husband and two cats.
