Confessions of a War Bride

This is the story behind the story: It is the real life of a little girl growing up in prewar England and then Hong Kong. With her blond hair and gift for acting, she was the center of attention and often lived in her own fantasy world. Back in England during WWII, she met and married a Canadian Air Force officer. And her life changed. We follow her struggles adapting to her new married life in Canada and raising ten children. But that was far from the end of her story. She returned to one of her early loves-that of painting-while also branching out into writing.
