Dad and Papaw also gave me something that I will take to the grave, the love of hunting and fishing. Those two things have helped me more than almost anything else. When things appeared tough, somehow in a deer stand, duck blink, or a boat, I seemed to find a way to solve whatever problem I might be facing. I even wrote a lot of our first book in a deer stand on the backs of cigar boxes, if you can believe that Out of everything we have to face in life, we need to remember where we came from and who we danced with, so to speak. We need to reflect on our lives to see how we are blessed....Because I have been given so much in life, and in many cases underserved, I try to give back something when the need arises. The little that is required may cost you a little, but it will come back to you tenfold and you will be better for it

Tims Edwards lives with his wife Catherine near Oden, Arkansas. He is a retired educator with 32 years experience. He is also a Justice of the Peace in Montgomery County, Arkansas. His entire career in education focused on involving young people in outdoor education life skills. The Gray Fox and his OWWC program have received numerous outdoor awards and have been featured in local and state newspapers, outdoor magazines, and television programs. In this, his third book of the Gray Fox series, he shares more of his philosophy, advice, and true adventures with his readers.
