Born in Seattle, Lisa drove a cab for Seattle-area North End Taxi during the 80s but was retired in the ’90s. She now lives in historic Steilacoom Washington, and is looked after by a funny little cat named Rosie. When she isn’t writing, researching, reading, or playing in the past, Lisa likes quiet moments in the mountains, ferryboat rides on Puget Sound in November, windy days on any beach, hairy chests on men, rare steaks, and purple roses.
