A Masterpiece Being Created: You!: Emotional Healing And Restoration

My name is Stephanie Bruce. I have grown up in the church, and have attended the same church, Living Word Christian Center, for over 17 years. I was in the choir for 10 years, and have worked at the church for 12 years; but it wasn’t until I went on my first missions trip that I learned anything about sharing a testimony and helping others with our personal pains and triumphs. I am just a regular person; I am not a professional writer, or a professional speaker (like a lot of people who write these books usually are). As I started going on missions trips, the Lord showed me that my experience with sexual abuse was something that could be shared to help people not only during missions trips, but everywhere, since sexual abuse is happening all around us. On my first missions trip to Mission, SD, in August 2006, the Lord had me get this testimony ready to share. It was almost a year before I actually shared it in front of the church there, but since I did, it has been so strong in me to get this into book form, so that it can be shared with others. The experiences I’ve shared could help you or someone you know that has been through sexual abuse. My prayer is that the Lord will use this book/testimony to set people free from the hurt and pain of sexual abuse so that He can make them into the beautiful masterpiece He meant for them to be!
