Ten Day Devotional for Cops: Even the Police Need Jesus

The Police Officer like everyone else is anxious to go home at the end of their shift. And like any other job, the last hour seems to be the longest hour of the day. However, there are countless times when the Police Officer with only ten minutes remaining on the shift is returning to the Police Station when all of a sudden there is an alert tone coming from the two-way radio. The dispatcher transmits "All Available Units Respond To Shots Fired Man Down." Now the adrenaline is pumping, the heart rate is up and the Police Officer is responding at a high rate of speed towards the unknown. There is a lot of emotional turmoil associated with police work.
