Phil likes to learn things. Kort likes to own things. So the two best friends spend their lives on a never ending adventure as they search for their knowledge and gold. A series of mistakes and very bad choices lands them on the far away shores of a magical and savage land. There they meet Sarah, the beautiful companion of a dragon. Ancient magic binds the three of them together. Phil must obey Sarah, and Sarah must obey Kort. When they seek help, they are told the Fates are trying to teach them something. Phil loves learning but there are some lessons he never wanted to learn: how to admit he was wrong, how to fix mistakes long ignored (but never forgotten), and last but not least, how to open his heart to Love, the only battleground where Knowledge, even in great amounts, means practically nothing.
