John DiStano is a former martial arts champion and teacher, holding black belts in three different disciplines. He has also written and appeared in many martial arts magazines over the years. He presently has four more novels in the works and has written many short stories in the horror genre. As always he continues his martial arts training in the art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu under the Royler Gracie/David Adiv organization.
