Don’t Wear Suede Boots to Chemistry

This is just a few of the highlights of a teaching career that spanned over 40 years. Some are funny, some describe student behaviors while others describe positive student reactions. While there are bad times in any career, this book ignores those and concentrates on the good times.

James Martino was born in June of 1938, graduated from Miami University in January of 1960 and bean teaching in a small K-12 school in Reily Ohio. He moved to Talawanda High School in 1963 where he taught until 1989. He than began a career as a substitute teacher in Union County Indiana as well as two Catholic schools in the Oxford area. He retired from all teaching in 2001.
