The next four chapters address specific building subsystems and energy efficient technologies. The book's final chapters provide basic engineering methods for net-zero retrofits of existing homes, describe approaches to verify and measure actual energy savings, and explain energy audit reporting guidelines. The book includes case studies of both walkthrough and standard energy audits. Most chapters contain problems and projects to use as review or homework.
