I currently live with my husband of 21 years, children, and other assorted animals in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of Northern California. I am the mother of four children, two of whom have already flown the coop. My oldest son is a US Marine, my second son is a firefighter, my daughter/princess is soon to be a freshman in college, and my youngest son, lovingly called my little dividend, will be in 6th grade. On our small farm we raise pygmy goats and alpacas. Alpacas we found out, the hard way I might add, are not as cute and sweet as they look on tv. I spin their fiber and knit or weave it into a useable piece of art. My hobbies include all things fabric and yarn. Beyond my piles of fabric and my many stashes of yarn you will find a great mountian of paperwork. Depending on the day I am either creating a new humor column for our local online newspapers, writing a new book, preparing grants for the local charities, or attempting to organize fundraisers for community organizations.
