卡珊卓拉．克蕾兒 Cassandra Clare
出生於伊朗首都德黑蘭，幼年時期絕大多數的時間都跟隨著家人在全世界旅行。一次喜馬拉雅山脈的長途旅程中，剛學會走路的卡珊卓拉就在父親的背包裡生活了一整個月。在這樣的生活中，她自然地與書為友，十二歲時也開始自己創作。
