Blades of Grass

This collection, the third issued by the author, contains 50 poems which have all previously appeared in poetry magazines, webzines or anthologies. The first 44 are original poems, the last 6 are English translations of poems by well-known poets written in Spanish or Portuguese. Philip Dunkerley is active in the poetry scene of South Lincolnshire where he has run poetry groups since 2013. He is a reviewer for Orbis International Literary Journal, has written articles on poetry and seen 150 of his poems published in, inter alia, Poetry Salzburg Review, Magma, Acumen, Dream Catcher, Lighten-Up Online and IS&T. The full sales proceeds of the first 100 copies of this book will go entirely to benefit the ’Royal Papworth Charity’, in aid of heart disease.
