Spirit of the Dawn

The Wielders pursue their quest to Penglai, where their paths cross with a talented but ornery young man who has been tracking them with fascination only to be disappointed upon meeting them. Alas, his presence does nothing to fill the cavity left by a dear friend. Meanwhile, in Danrylle, Darius uncovers echoes of conflict rising in the neighbouring nation which will incite discord among the Wielders, as Felicia endeavours to contain her clandestine charge. All seems to move as Xander wishes.
