Enticed by inexpensive land in Colorado, Norwegian settlers came to northern Lincoln County, Colorado in the early 1900s. After attending church services hosted by circuit riders for several years, they formed their own congregation and called it Walks Camp Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Congregation. "Closed with the Lord's Prayer" chronicles Walks Camp's beginning and end with church notes, memoirs of past members, photographs of founding members, pastors, confirmation classes, and special events.
