Sharon Brock Heldman was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Her enrollment at Moody Bible Institute in the Biblical Languages/Missionary program was cut short with the untimely death of her father at the end of her first year. In 1964, she married Ken Heldman and over the next 42 years raised a family of five children: Nate, Matt, Ginger, Georgia and Angela. Five grandchildren have since joined the family: Lucas and Ethan; Autumn, Jesse and Seth. Sharon received her B.A. in Business from Judson College in 1996. She and her husband have been involved in nursing and retirement home ministry for more than 30 years. She currently resides in Belvidere, IL.
