Jordan Sarah Weatherhead comes from just about the smallest town anyone can imagine. Raised in Leonard, North Dakota until the age of 18, Weatherhead always had an imagination that ran right out of her head and onto paper. Always drifting off in school classes to worlds of magic and monsters, sunshine and adventure, she often got in trouble for being the girl who never put the pen down and never kept her head up. While on a vacation in Hawaii with her best friend at the age of 16, Weatherhead found something she hadn’t before believed in; love. One trip to paradise and her world had changed forever. Now instead of just daydreaming about adventures, she was about to embark on one. Writing went from being a distracting hobby to a necessity for letting out her teenage angst and long distance love that no one around her thought would last. Being published in a book of poetry at age 18 lit the fire for Weatherhead even more. Jordan moved to Detroit, Michigan after high school graduation to be with her soul mate from Hawaii, Chad. From the moment that the summer after her high school graduation began, she knew there were two things in life she wanted: A life with Chad and to be a writer. Moving around from Michigan, Florida, and North Dakota and back to Michigan, Jordan and Chad had a son, got married, survived his deployment to Iraq, and encountered many more of life’s experiences along the way. Weatherhead never once stopped writing and through the ups and downs in life she relentlessly put down onto paper the rawest feelings of her adventures. Never feeling completely understood in her life, Weatherhead now puts out this amazing book of emotions for the world to read. Jordan Weatherhead is a strong and outspoken individual with a ’never-back-down, in-your-face’ attitude. Her family, friends, and life lessons are all reasons this book is possible, but the major driving force behind her words will always be Chad. Jordan now resides in Detroit, Michigan with her husband and son where she enjoys poker, live music, traveling, basketball, tattoos, being with friends, and staying in touch with her family back home.
