Born in York County, PA, Wanda spent her formative years in Washington County, TN. From 1973, she resided in or near Jacksonville, FL, but recently moved just a few miles north to a small town in Georgia. Following the demise of her 25-year marriage, Wanda began writing in earnest. In the past twelve years, she has penned one novel, OUT OF THE BOX, one book of romantic writings, hundreds of poems, and a cookbook. To compliment her writings, Wanda has made two spoken word CDs of her poetry, now available through most digital download sites. Currently, she is working on her second novel. In 1999, Wanda won Third Place in the international VOICES OF SERENITY competition, sponsored by The Ancient Wind Press for her poem entitled I SHALL. Her work has received several Editors’ Choice awards, numerous honorable mention honors, and has been published in more than a few poetry anthologies in the US and the England. Additionally, Wanda is a lifetime member of Cambridge Who’s Who.
