Max and Susan, both brilliant scientists that work for the same company, are approached by the Topeks that offer to help them avoid the inevitable self destuction of human kind by nuclear war. They are given one year to develop a reasonable plan, with help of the Topek Crystals, to accomplish this mission. If their mission fails, they will be given the opportunity to evacuate the earth and start a new human colony off-world.
