"A small girl made her way purposefully through the orchard that separated her weatherboard home from the local school...she scrambled through the hole in the fence and made her way to the school and knocked on the door. The startled schoolmaster surveyed his tiny caller, who announced, 'I've come to sing for you.'"
Margaret Dwyer was born with a song in her heart, and has continued to sing throughout her life. Growing up on a property and being schooled away from home, she learnt what was needed to later work the land with her husband and raise seven children in the bush through years of droughts, floods and fire.
With great happiness, times of immense sadness and always abounding love, Margaret's story is that of an ordinary life, well-lived.
