Latice knew at the budding age of twelve that she desired to be an artist. Following her dreams, she graduated from CSU Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Art with an emphasis in graphic design. Her view about writing began to change when she had to write a poem in her college class called, Women in Sports. Soon after that, she entered and won a poetry contest in a dormitory poetry competition. She started to see that she had some natural talents in the area of poetry writing. Over the next ten years, she collected her thoughts in prose, taught herself how to format, edit and self-publish her first book which you now hold in your hands. True to her passion, the poems & her blog are meant to inspire thought, foster peace and reconciliation within the relationship one has to the inner spirit, to others and with God. The goal is to help people ＂Improve intimate connection one relationship at a time.＂ She aspires to attain a degree in counseling but, as of yet, she shares what she has learned about how to work through some things from personal experience and the testimony of others.
