A Full Quiver: Stories From The Edge

Michael Jaquish has spent a very diverse life observing the human condition and pondering life from a spiritual perspective. He is the author of numerous books including: The Buddha and the Badge, Beyond Courage (Tales of a Country Cop in Africa), Time Loves a Hero, A Monk Without A Monastery, Namaste- (Greeting The Light Within), Where Did We Come From? and The Role of the Security Officer. Following a career as a peace officer in Washington State, Michael traveled to West Africa in 1989 and spent the next seven years running security operations for the US State Department, often in the midst of civil war and political unrest. Upon returning to the United States he began working as an international security consultant and conducting training for the private security industry. He now resides in the Pacific Northwest where he studies Buddhist philosophy, meditates and writes of his contemplations on life and his personal experiences.
