This story is an old one - it's the often told tale of a man, who messed up his youth, tries to return home. And what he finds isn't a new story either - just new to him. In the end, Nic Bondo learns that, sometimes, you have to take two steps back before you can take the next step forward. For a few people, those steps are not welcome...

Born in Canada, the author grew up in Pittsfield, Mass. He presently lives in northwest Arkansas, with his wife, Becky. They have two grown sons, Ray and Don.
