When Paul awakes, he finds his world reduced to a small circle defined by the sweep of a chain tethering him to an eyebolt. Jack Hudson is a retired engineer and salesman raised in Texas with a degree from the University of Texas. Pat Hudson is a legal assistant born in England and has been living in America for fifteen years. They collaborate writing mystery thrillers under the pen name of J P Hudson. They live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
