Born in 1931 and my parents moved to Michigan around 1934. I worked all my life and accomplished many things. I met my lovely wife in 1958 in Omaha Nebraska and married in 1959 we were married for almost 50 years before she passed away. I beleive we had a wonderful life and a little different then most people so I wrote a book called More than One Life after I lost my wife due to many illnesses. I also finished a book that my wife started with me of our adventures of raising Great Horned Owls on the property of the Milwaukee railroad where we ran a restaurant for the railroad in Atkins Iowa. I was a taxidermist for about 22 years and had the privilge to do a little teaching of it at Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa. We were married there in 1959 and decided to come back to Michigan where I was originally from to try make our business grow. I think you will find our life in both of these books very facinating. Both books are dedicated to my lovely wife who was ill for many years before her passing. My interists are many as I am now retired and I love the outdoors and the arts. I do a little painting some clay modeling and model boat building and photography and writing of course. I have a Blog page that I think you will like that can be seen by looking it up on Google (Life’s Dreams By Irwin Watts.) I hope you enjoy my book and the poems on the blog some were taken from the poems my wife wrote and are in our books.
