Joyce L. Rapier hails from Van Buren, AR. She has been writing since the early 1980’s, where she started out writing short stories, Whose Life Is It, for her local paper, The Press-Argus Courier. She published her first three books, Windy John’s me & Tut, Windy John’s Rainbow and the Pot ’O Gold and Whisper My Name, as paperback in the US in November 2002- 2007. Other exciting novels, Full Circle and Red Clay Murders followed through 2008 - 2010. Joyce’s short stories, Hidden Wings and Messy Kisses are inclusions in Chicken Soup for the Soul and Jack and the Mud Pies was included in the Literary Cottage anthology, My Dog Is My Hero. Joyce is married to her high school sweetheart, Dan, and is the mother of three children and eight grandchildren. Now retired, she still maintains presidency and owner of Rapier Inc., a business forms and ad specialty company.
