Their paradise existence is abruptly threatened when Blythe is attacked by the Taleek, a vicious and heartless predator from yet another world. The wizards, elves, and dragons are forced to seek the help of their former enemies, MEN, from whose world they had fled ages ago. With the aid of a strange and ancient talisman, the creatures enter the world of MEN, and seek out Simon Andrews, the Secretary General of the United Nations. Unbeknownst to all the adults, two reckless kids, Amy and Caden, sneaked away onto the amazing world of Blythe. With the help of Samara the wizard queen, Amy and Caden learn spells possible to help Blythe battle the Taleek. As the children learn of the history of Blythe, they are drawn more and more to their new friends and their world. Forced to risk everything, they go against all odds to save the people and creatures they care about. Amy discovers a secret lost to the ages, and Caden's surprising ancestry takes shape. Together, these things are the key to winning the battle and saving all their lives.
