Cedric is a 64-yr old novelist; Max and Julie are his oldest friends, and they're in their 80's, with a 46-yr old college professor son. Long estranged, the son suddenly announces a Christmas visit, and Ced is delighted to put him up for Max and Julie, in his apartment, close by. Love at first sight--on both sides.
But that's when the going starts getting rough, and it just keeps getting rougher. All this doesn't help Cedric's longstanding identity crisis one bit.
