Jason has twenty-four hours until the next dispatch to Reuters. Heading to the perilous Dubrinya suburb, he encounters a military funeral bombarded by sniper fire. Whilst photographing the injured, a Sarajevean civilian claims he’s profiting from other people’s suffering. It has taken twenty years to write down what happened next. That day, though, foes had to become friends simply to stay alive. Bulletin was originally a radio play for the BBC World Service based on a true story about two adversaries attempting to save themselves from the Siege of Sarajevo.
