How I Come to Know is a selection from So They Say Collected Stories. Ten-year old Rex Fordham can’t contain his curiosity about grown-up ways. After stumbling upon his married aunt engaged in a backseat ‘wrastling match’ with a man not her husband, he innocently shares the information with another family member and quickly ‘comes to know’ that being too inquisitive can be downright risky, not to mention embarrassing. It seems that adults aren’t above a bit of sneaking around themselves.
