Tony Thomson is an American, born 20/10/1942. He has a Yale BA, Oxford MA and Stanford Business School MBA. Tony spent three years in the US Army as an ordinary soldier, including 1966 in the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. In business Tony was a global investor, specialising in emerging markets from Finland to China. He has been married to Alyson, who features in Love, Fate and Afghanistan, for over forty years. They have three grown children, three grandchildren and two Labradors.
