A Walk on Mars

After retiring from the army, Terrance Walker expected to enjoy post-military life with his wife, Samantha, and their new triplets, as he began his journey toward full-time television journalism. But a routine appointment at Military Retirement Services proves to give Terrance a little more than just his retirement benefits. His pension is for life, and so is this new secret he must keep from his family. As he buries himself under one lie after another, he fears the worst as Samantha becomes increasingly suspicious. Terrance must not only keep himself quiet, but anyone he suspects knows any part of his secret, which becomes more and more difficult to hide. Robert People is currently a U.S. Army journalist, having served for nearly 15 years. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Robert has been a freelance writer for more than 13 years.
