Thoughts of the Confined Mind: Perceptions Within Reality

J L Boyd, Sr. was born August 30, 1982. Raised in Harlem’s Manhattanville Projects, until old enough to appreciate the differences in right and wrong. Boyd’s bi-racial background is credited for his increased sense of pride, self-respect, self-esteem, and self-appreciation; all are key to ones personal growth and development. Boyd survived several years of incarceration to walk the stage with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration (SKYCTC), followed by his Bachelor’s in Communication (University of Louisville). All while dedicating his life to uplifting the community through numerous events, speaking engagements and much more.
