J.B. Hammill, the author of The Divided, is a historian, award winning painter, photographer, & sculptor. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Oklahoma State University. He is a bachelor who lives in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, with his three dogs, & three cats.
