Fran Padula grew up in Pawtucket, RI, the ninth of eleven children. She started THE PINO CHRONICLES rather innocently in 2006 when she began sending snippets and pictures of a childhood toy named Pino via email to her family and friends. The stories merely meant to amuse them, and then they took on a life of their own. The pictures were taken in the town of Wrentham, MA, where she has lived for nineteen years. Writing, painting, gardening, people and laughter are the hobbies that give her the most pleasure. This is her first short story.
