Andrea Clinton is the niece of legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s "George Clinton" of P/Funk. She is presently working on the biography of George Clinton and the Clinton family. She’s the 2016 recipient of the Urban Playwrights United, Soaring Eagle Award, 2015 & 2016 UCACT Grant & award recipient. She’s been commissioned by Luna Stage to write a historical 1 Act play about the effects of Route 280 on the citizens of Orange, NJ. Presently, Andrea has begun producing a series she’s written about human trafficking and it’s affect on the urban community. Andrea has worked as a high school Principal and English Teacher, Freelance Journalist and is a Filmmaker who’s made several short films. Andrea is a Montclair State University Graduate who’s achieved an MA in Theatre, and undergraduate degrees in: English, Film and Journalism. She is the Editor in Chief of AMISTAD newspaper and she’s the founder of People Helping People, a non-profit organization.
