Mave Priestley took up writing as a form of relaxation while busy working and raising a family in Yorkshire. Lancashire born, she met and married a Yorkshire man when living in Malta. Before settling back in Yorkshire Mave, her husband and later along with their two children lived for twenty years in various countries around Europe. When retirement loomed thirty eight years into marriage, Mave and her husband moved to France. Their children having families of their own. Four lovely grandchildren. Settling in a quiet area of Morbihan, Mave continued her writing, and her husband busy as always gardening. Both enjoying busy and fulfilling lives in the local community.
