It was the year 2000 when I finally completed my first full length stage play; "Confrontation" This was the transition in my life where I had to decide either my comfort zone with my family and friends or take a risk. With nothing to lose I then moved to Charlotte, NC in May 2003. "Confrontation," opened May 2004 and I sold all but 12 seats in a 250 seat theater. Since then I have produced poetry contest, talent shows, 2 of my plays numerous times at venues such as The Neighborhood Theater, The CAST Theater, The African American Cultural center, Crystal’s night club. In 2011 we rolled out "Skitz" a sketch comedy series. We performed at The Mill in NODA, The Prevue, The Sunset Club, Upscale Rest. and Lounge just to name a few. My plays consist of hip hop dance choreographed by myself, poetry, drama and real life situations. In each play real life in the form of theatre, from an urban standpoint. Attending one of my shows you will feel as if you are watching someone’s life like a fly on the wall. All of my stories are based on real life situations. Through experience I have learned to write what I know. Look for "Is it Just Me" Vol 2 Love letters coming out July 2012; and "Is It Just Me; Vol 1 on sale now on Amazon.com
