Tonya Sharp Hyche was born and raised in Alabama, but has lived most of her adult life in Texas. Tonya has been married over twenty-two years to her husband Steve and has two boys, Dustin and Dylan. Tonya is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor degree in Secondary Education. Upon graduation, Tonya’s husband Steve moved their young family to The Woodlands, Texas. While living in The Woodlands, Tonya taught high school history for over ten years. In August of 2010, Steve moved Tonya and their youngest son Dylan to Shelly Beach, Queensland Australia. Since moving to a foreign country, Tonya has had the luxury and time to live out one of her dreams and write novels. In December of 2010, Tonya began writing and is currently working on her fifth novel Intersection of Lies, set to release in late November 2012. Tonya is the author of Swept Away, Just For You, Breathless, & Fearless ( Sept. 2012). Since living in Queensland for almost two years now, her hobbies have changed since living in the States and watching college football and NASCAR. Now Tonya enjoys watching her youngest son play rugby and trying to figure out all the rules. On weekends the family spends most of their time fishing off the coast of Caloundra on their jetskis. During the week, Tonya enjoys writing and walking her Jack Russell along the beautiful coastal trails of the Pumicestone Passage and Caloundra. Writing has given Tonya the opportunity to travel around Queensland with her husband Steve’s job and meeting the locals and seeing the beautiful sites of Queensland. Tonya and her family plan to return to the states in 2014. Currently she resides with her family in the beautiful coastal suburb of Pelican Waters, Queensland.
