Luke Ahearn was born in New Orleans and that definitely effected him as a writer. No city can be at one time so bawdy and noble, enlightened and inebriated... In a city isolated in the deep south, but serving as a gateway to the world, you are bound to have some serious dichotomies. He now lives in Monterey, CA.
