Edith Thompson-Executed consists of two books: The Following Years is based on the true and tragic events, which occurred during 1922-1923 and ended in the deaths of two men and a woman. The Thompson and Bywaters Case. It is a semi-fictional story about how the family dealt with the the horror, guilt and shame of having a family member executed. A Live Lived is best described as counterfactual. It is based upon true events. Stepping into Edith’s unchallenged life, we meet that which could have been. A life authentic, emotionally moving and even humorous. A Live Lived is a family saga centering on the life of Edith Thompson had she been allowed to live.
