Nicholas Mason is Professor of English at Brigham Young University. He served as the general editor and a volume editor for Blackwood’s Magazine 1817-25: Selections from Maga’s Infancy (2006). His research on Blackwood’s and other Romantic-era periodicals has appeared in several articles and his book Literary Advertising and the Shaping of British Romanticism (2013).
Tom Mole is Professor of English Literature and Book History, and Director of the Centre for the History of the Book at the University of Edinburgh. He edited one volume of Blackwood’s Magazine 1817-25: Selections from Maga’s Infancy (2006). His book What the Victorians Made of Romanticism (2017) won the Saltire Society Research Book of 2018 and the Dorothy Lee Prize, and was commended for the DeLong Prize.
