Mean Bayou

A Cajun detective and his Fish & Wildlife friend investigate a local man's suspicious death in this Louisiana Bayou mystery. The story unravels in a great variety of authentic atmospheric Acadiana locations as Detective Lanclos and Moise Angelle discover the sordid story behind the homicide. Outlaw hunters, a Cajun faith healer, a Creole curse, a cocaine smuggling lawyer and a broad mix of hard headed bayou and swamp characters are all featured in this rich gumbo of a tale.

The writer lives surrounded by wildlife on a vintage Acadian farm along fabled Bayou Teche, near the western levee of the Atchafalaya Swamp. She has lived immersed in Cajun culture for many years.
