Homesteader’’s Daughter

A true story of a family living through the depression in the 1930's on a homestead in western New Mexico. The everyday life of that family followed through to the homesteader's life as she grew into a woman with a family of her own.

The author is a 75 year old great grandmother who wanted the grandchildren to envision what life was like living on a small ranch with out electricity, no money for clothes or toys. My brother and I were home schooled, not having children to play with, and all of this I felt blest and not deprived.
