This is the second book of the Dark Man Trilogy which started with the book Dark Water.
Kat and her son take up an offer from a distant cousin to escape a bad relationship with a nasty cop to move to Crescent Beach to start a new life and a new job. She finds herself with a wonderful new job with a supportive family. She also finds herself attracted to a man who seems to be everything she is looking for except for one thing: Like her ex, he’s a cop. But this supportive family is a circle of witches, and Kat finds herself enmeshed in a 300 year old curse. To fight the Dark Man, Kat must ally herself with this new cop. Will she find true love and freedom from this curse?
